Getting my second Moderna tomorrow morning. Already been warned what's gonna happen afterward, but I have approximately 1 3/4 days to recover before going back to work on Monday.

After my first Moderna just had pain for a couple day at the injection site in my left arm. Got my second one yesterday. Soreness is more intense but not debilitating although I have felt fatigued for most of the day

Second bad cold within three weeks - thought I finally caught the 'vid - but the test said no.

Will get latest booster and my flu shot a week from Tuesday. It'll be my sixth covid shot. Only one of the previous five had any notable side effects, my first booster. Felt like crap for 10 hours or so, then fine.

Covid finally hit my house about two weeks ago. Oldest kid came home from school with a fever. Tested negative several times over the next few days. Wife got sick four days later and tested positive. Five days after that I started getting sick and tested positive a day later. Kept the youngest out of daycare through all of that. Sent him in for one day thinking we were past it. He came down with a fever that night and tested positive in the morning. Wife & I both took Paxlovid, and she ended up with a rebound case. For me it was somewhere between a really bad cold and the flu. I'm on day 9 and feel probably 90 percent of my usual self. The youngest is on day 5, full of energy, and if he gets a clear PCR test tomorrow can return to daycare. The hardest part for me has been managing my kids while also being sick - especially as they've been at different levels of what they can and can't do. Tested my oldest probably 10 times over the last two and a half weeks and he's been negative every time.

I got sick three times in three months last year, each time after return from traveling. Got my fourth shot in late November and haven't had any issues since, including three trips out of the country. Looking to get another shot before Christmas.

Every time I've gotten the vaccine - three times, I believe - I feel fine for about six hours, then the fever hits like a freight train, usually running up to 101, and Tylenol does nothing to relieve it. For me, it's fever, some shivering, aches and, last time, insomnia. After 24 hours, I'm completely fine again.

I get my new booster on Friday at 6 p.m. I figure I'll have my bad 24 hours and will take it easy at home on Saturday while it runs its course.
