Lol. Evidence, what would you like evidence of?

I’m going to take my cowardly ass and go flex in the mirror.

The Rays have traded shortstop Willy Adames and pitcher Trevor Richards to the Brewers. This may be a sign that the top prospect in the game, Wander Franco, will be called up. It could also mean another elite prospect, Vidal Brujan, who might be called up this weekend.

Neither called up, it's Taylor Walls.

Neither Franco nor Brujan are on the 40-man roster, so it might still be a bit before they are called up.

Wow, Adames is a very good SS too.

Great video by Mattingly, especially the part about the game being unwatchable. 3-2 games shouldn't take 3 1/2 hours.

Also a great presence in the clubhouse. I was figuring he’d be traded at some point soon, and I was just hoping the Rays would do right by him and trade him to a decent organization.

The Tigers’ winning streak has turned the heat down on Al Avila but Adames, just like Benintendi, was affordable, available and filled a need. I wonder if Avila tried to get either one

I wonder if Avila even knew they were being shopped -- or has even been in the office in weeks. (And Dombrowski traded prospect Adames for David Price back in the day.)

And Niko Goodrum has made six errors in the past nine games. He's not the long-term situation, or are either of the Castros. They don't have an honest-to-goodness league average shortstop in the system. And anybody worthy is going to cost more money than Chris Ilitch will pay.

Too bad they don't have somebody like ... say, Jose Iglesias.

Not MLB, but since I'm not sure of the fate of the MSD shooting thread, it goes here. Some players on this team were there that day.
