And they keep promoting Babbitt as a patriot instead of a nut-job terrorist trying to overthrow the government.

 

It is sad that nobody talks about Babbitt, not even her president. I hadn't thought of her since the unpleasant real-time footage.

 

She should have complied.

 

I’m honestly surprised someone on the level of a statewide official, even one who leans hard on the family values schtick, still feels a need to resign over an affair. That seems almost quaint compared to some of the grotesque behavior other politicians shake off these days.
