    Texas Dems ghost the chamber at the death. Lack of quorum means election reforms fail at deadline, kind of similar to Wendy Davis' filibuster in 2015.

    But as in the previous case, only delaying the inevitable. Gov. Tort Reform Hypocrite will immediately call a special session from his wheelchair. (Need I remind you: He got his, fuck you.)

    Some of these restrictions are literally based on the idea that we want to make it harder for people who voted against us in 2020 to be able to vote. Not even the typical massively overblown allegations of voter fraud. Nope, it’s just that Democrats were more likely to vote early on Sundays or in a 24-hour polling station, so we have to restrict that. Not a single prominent Republican speaks out against these restrictions, so to me they are all complicit.
