Funny how many people have egg anecdotes.

I have never liked fried eggs. Just couldn't take the loose, gooey yolk on the toast as a kid, and I have, in fact, never made a fried egg, for myself, in my entire life. That decision was probably made, and cemented, when I, too, was about 7 or 8, and my dad made me sit at the kitchen table until I'd finished some fried eggs we'd all had for breakfast one morning. I think it took me about two hours to gag my way through it, and to this day, I cannot stand fried eggs.

The funny thing is, a scrambled-egg and bacon sandwich on an English muffin has always been among my favorite things to have, even, occasionally, for dinner.

Eggs are great. The eggs you make in your kitchen are just as, if not better, than what you get in a restaurant. Now bacon… that’s another story.

Disagree. The Tillamook cheese I bought had a strange aftertaste.

I was surprised and disappointed. So back to the good stuff ...

I am upstate New York white trash at heart and I think French's yellow mustard belongs on and in many, many things. Including almost every time I use mayo, like salads.

I had an egg & olive salad sandwich at a diner last night and it was immediately clear that no mustard was employed. It was not good. With mustard, it would have been.

Went for a long walk this morning and found myself eating lunch at a Cambodian restaurant that opened yesterday.

Got a noodle and beef dish that was really fucking good.
