This was my first time seeing Malika in action. Hadn't heard of her before the flap with what's her name.

    She was fine here.

Makes me wonder what the worst performance in one of those podium/locker room interviews are. The players really aren't in the mindset to critically analyze their performance/journey to that moment other than a "how do you feel?" like softball.

Heard today that Ashley Brewer is coming back to L.A. for SportsCenter duty. She's the one who was "with" Ducks player Hampus Lindholm, yet mispronounced a lot of the names of hockey players.

I saw Malika Andrews' work in the bubble last year. She's solid.

    WINNING!

@toure: Maria Taylor joins NBC Sports, starting on the Olympics team and she will also be on Football Night in America and she’ll do the Super Bowl for NBC. Maria Taylor is WINNING.

Football Night in America already feels bloated and overproduced. It's weird, but they could absolutely use her for the Olympics. Tirico is fine, but doesn't really move the needle. Their weekend coverage had Rebecca Lowe, who is normally their British soccer presenter and sounds like a British soccer presenter. Taylor is an upgrade on Lowe, and she can probably do the morning sports hits better than Craig Melvin is right now.

And the best part is she now avoids weeks of being drouled on by frat boy assholes for three hours during College Gameday.

He’s the onscreen conductor of the giant operation so to speak. He’s not supposed to move the needle.

    he’s excellent at this, too.

Disagree. Lowe is really, really good.

Regan MacNeil and Webster like this.

I like her as a soccer presenter, but not to sound too much like an asshole here, it's weird to have a British commentator for NBC's Olympics coverage, which can usually be summed as "If it's not U.S., then we don't care."
