    Given the increasingly self-important nature of the series, I'd be stunned if there really are no stories about the pandemic or social justice protests.

    What I don't get about the very worthy folks, many of whom I know, involved in this project, is that they don't select for TYPE of writing. Long feature, column, gamer, stories on tightest deadlines, enterprise, etc., etc. That'd be more realistic and frankly a way better read.
