I'm going to go to UAB's stadium home opener on Oct. 2, and likely will be at all the home games. Much of the crowd will be vaxed/masked, but this is still Alabama so many won't. Our seasons are in handicapped seating at the 50, just behind the back row of the lower bowl. There are no seats within six feet of ours. My wife got her booster last Wednesday. We'll be in masks, at least most of the time.

There's no way in hell I'm not there when Protective opens.

Re the booster shot - we both had mild reactions to the first two, with mine to the 2nd shot being the worst. Her reaction the day after the booster was a full on "mild" case of Covid. She was sick as a dog through Friday afternoon when she finally started to feel something approaching better. FYI. This was Moderna. My perception is that the first two had built a high immune response and her antibodies went into high gear immediately, but that's purely uneducated anecdote.

What would happen if rumor spread that George Soros was trying to corner the ivermectin market?

More people would die of Covid trying to breathe through their asshole. Fewer people would OD on sugar cubes.

Back t0 a real life circumstance (my experience only)... high school kids are still attached to phones in a real world classroom. What my daughter disagrees with: administrators placating this to happen. "Give them two weeks"... My advice is give an inch they'll take a mile. Old school thinking for sure. Serious, how does a teacher combat a 1 1/2 year of teaching remotely come back?

Wife got her booster. She has been knocked out and felt pretty awful with the previous two. She is currently down for count in case you might wonder if third times a charm for not having a reaction.

Booster kicked my wife's ass too. She got better, but it was very bad for a day and a half.

I think it's the charm for being neither holder, or carrier. And kudos to your wife for being brave enough to take it. Wishing swift recovery. Sincerely.

Hopefully, she's better by the morning.
