I see all the living POTUS except Carter and Trump are at the 9/11 ceremony. One is elderly. The other is preparing to commentate on a boxing exhibition.

 

When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

 

It would be worse if Trump were there.

Carter also didn't appear in the PSA they did re: vaccines. Not a good sign. He's also 96, so there's that.

An ex who spent the better part of the morning of 9/11 helping to pull people off the street and into the law office he shared that was within sight of The Towers got his knickers in a twist over the possibility that someone is finally, FINALLY going to say the quiet parts out loud about Saudi Arabia's involvement. This is someone who has always been pro-Israel no matter what. The conservative talking points dictate that "The Saudis are our freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeens!" so he's marching in step with the rest of the cult. The Bush administration made sure wealthy Saudis and Bin Laden family members were given safe passage out of the U.S. when this fuckery went down. I guess if it had been Gore, we wouldn't have conveniently forgotten this.
