I think you are wildly overestimating how much a lot of us are wrapped up in love for the Democratic Party, or even politics in general. I would like to get back to a place where I don’t feel the need to keep up with this stuff all the time. But I can’t do that because the Republicans, or at least the part of them with any real pull, are acting in transparently, almost cartoonishly evil ways.

If you can’t identify and call out that evil by name when it is so glaringly obvious and is doing such obvious harm, I really don’t get why I’m supposed to pay attention to your moral proclamations about anything.
