Had my Pfizer booster yesterday and I must say my reaction was much stronger than to either of the first two shots back in March. My left arm is real sore, and while I don't have aches, pains or a low-grade fever, I slept until after 8:30, about two hours longer than usual, and can't wait to go back to bed. It's worth it, of course, but today's looking like a lost cause. I will try to watch football games in which I am not very interested to stimulate the napping process.

Because their Lord and Savior said so. Because the idiots they watch with more devotion that your favorite high school football team in the small town, with more devotion that the college football program in a college town, than someone who watches the same televangelist every Sunday morning and the same trio of idiots every weeknight on a certain channel - named Carlson, Hannity and Ingraham - said so. If they said it, it must be true.

These idiots cannot be told that we are vaccinated against smallpox, measles, rubella and flu among other diseases and serious maladies. Therefore, COVID-19 is a political hill on which people are literally dying. (Too soon to mention that some gravestone maker is missing out on millions by not producing "I OWNED THE LIBS!" engraved on it? I mean, the irony, etc. ... )

 

Kyrie has been in Brooklyn for two years, so he’s unhappy and he’s using his get-out-of-jail-free card. If they asked him to change his haircut he’d be doing this too.

The guy is such a damn enigma. He’s smart. He knows he’s smart. He just really enjoys being an asshole, apparently.

 

Contrast that with the Athletic story on the topic, which eagerly bought every bit of nonsense Irving's agents were shoveling at them.

 

Hubby is doing a short term contract for his old company. The union is in negotiations right now. Offer on the table: vaccinated workers get a $1,000 bonus. Unvaxxed don't get the bonus and have a $700 annual surcharge on their insurance.
