Moderna booster and flu shot scheduled for next Saturday. Hopefully the booster doesn’t give me the rough side effects of the second shot. Knocked me on my ass (totally worth it, of course).

Anyone can draw a line on a graph. They probably had the Sharpies working overtime.

Just scheduled my Pfizer booster for Wednesday morning. Working remote that day and Thursday so that should cover me for any side effects. I don't really expect any since I didn't have much other than a sore arm from the first two shots.

This is one of the biggest impacts of the COVID anti-vax movement. Pregnant people think it will hurt them or their babies or cause infertility or whatever. There are tons of stories of mothers giving birth and then dying or staying in the hospital for weeks. My wife is an OBGYN. She told my cousin recently who had questions that having COVID and being in the ICU would hurt your fertility more than the vaccine. Also, you know, being dead doesn't exactly help care for your kids.

It's amazing how easy it is for people to latch on to one side of this -- it will hurt me somehow. And not the most common -- I could die if I don't. I'm sure there is some human phycology on this that explains it, but it is still baffling to me.

That’s the state hospital association, which started releasing COVID-19 data when DeSantis told the state to stop doing that.

Funny how when summer is over, they say the summer surge is over. Just in time for the completely out of left field fall surge that will likewise conveniently end on or about Dec. 21.

My three county area which was pretty much at capacity through August and well into September, has between all its hospitals fewer than 50 covid patients right now. The surge is at least paused in Florida for now. At least where I am.

My snark aside, that is good to hear. But with the holidays around the corner, I’m sure we’re going to see another round of this unless vaccination rates in places like Florida change

Didja get the official (half dose) booster or a full No 3?
