You really expect anything less from the Braves? Moving to Cobb County and giving a middle finger to Atlanta.
Even the WFT dropped the derogatory term in their former name.

 

The amazing thing is that Cobb County is now barely half white and will be well under the Mendoza line by the 2030 Census. By then they’ll be angling for Cherokee County to build them another stadium.

 

Gonna put Ted Cruz in a tough spot. Does he pretend to cheer for his hometown Astros? Or for the Lord and Savior's new favorite team?
The interesting question is whether the Braves will show Trump on the big screen or otherwise introduce him. If they do, they'll have to shed their claim of being "apolitical." He ain't POTUS anymore.

Wonder if Trump will squeeze in an SEC footbawwwl game in November. Or maybe the first Saturday in December.
The Braves already told the few remaining Black fans they had to go away. Then they embraced Trumpist Twitt. Now they're putting their arms around Trump himself.

OK. How about this overture? Plenty of people care about Trump. It's not to be dismissed.

Trumpist Twitt was the precursor and harbinger of Satan's arrival. When he showed up and the klan went wild with joy and the local media chose to ignore the issue lest they be accused of raining on a pennant-winning parade, Trump's runway was clear.

 

I don't care how the underlying political dynamics go. It is always super risky for a pol to show up at a sports event unless he's sitting in the back of a tinted window luxury box. Boo is a louder noise than yay. Try it at home sometime. If I was running a campaign, I'd never let my guy go to a sports event. Even people there who are gonna vote for you, who might love you, are offended. They know how exploitative it is. Also, what if the Braves lose Game 4? What's Trump gonna do, show up in Houston with Cruz.

 

Trump's not a pol ... he's a clown. He just doesn't realize it.

 

Wondering if his presence will require fans to arrive early or if that level of disruption is only necessary when POTUS is in the house.
I'd never want to welcome anybody with Secret Service protection. Quite the headache.
