    My neighbor owns one of those. Lets regulars run a tab. Has aisles so narrow only one person can go down them at a time. Nothing marked, so if you don’t know what aisle the nuts and bolts are on you have to ask for help. He even has a pot-bellied stove with some chairs around it for visiting.

    BTW, I swung by there a couple of hours ago. Jerry, the owner, was helping one customer. CJ, his assistant, was helping another. An older man was standing there waiting patiently for one of them to free up. Instead, Jerry said "Scott, can you help him find what he's looking for?" Luckily, I knew where the rust-removing solvent was located. I thought my duties were finished. Then Jerry said "Well, go ring him up." So I did.

    He did not give me a discount on the extension cord I bought for working in the store for 5 minutes.
