    Definitely not surprised.

Woods’ “full” schedule was, what, 15 events? I’m sure he would not be upset to forgo the FedEx Cup playoffs.

It’s incredible if he can still actually play at a high level. That remains to be seen.

The four majors and a handful of others? 7-10 tournaments a year? Would be fun to watch if he can still contend.

Four majors. Riviera. Bay Hill. Memorial.

Has only played Bay Hill once since 2013, the last in 2018. Since he moved to Jupiter and Arnold died, it's not a priority for him.

Tiger played 18 events in 2018, not including the Hero. He played 12 in 2019 and really cut the schedule down. The only non major/WGC/playoff events he played were Farmers, Genesis and the Memorial.

Hogan played a limited schedule after his accident.

    And won another 6 majors.

To be fair, Hogan was also 36 at the time of his accident and majors weren't quite as hard to win as they are now. I honestly can't imagine a scenario in which Woods ever competes for a major again, even if he gets back out there. Just too much cumulative damage to his body, along with his age.

There' s a real "I'm not here to talk about the past" vibe from Tiger when he's asked about the wreck.

But someone did ask? That's good. Thought he'd get nothing but softballs this morning.

For sure. Even before the accident, I didn't think Tiger would win another major.

That said, the Hogan story reminds us not to give up on a longshot.

    Even that was softball-ish.
