    When I worked on Wall Street, one of the senior execs belonged to a couple of the Trump courses. I asked him about the application process/recommendations needed and he said as long as the checks cleared no one asks any questions. Even truer about politics, especially on the GOP side.

    I think it was something Michael Moore first did, for or slightly before "TV Nation," but one of his bits was sending campaign checks to candidates from like, "The Nazi Party" and similarly named organizations. (Might have been The Daily Show; Google is proving unhelpful.) Most of them cashed the checks.
