Hope y’all had a good Christmas. Mine was going great until my father-in-law had too much vodka and decided to button hole me at midnight to harangue me about being anti-Trump. In no particular order, he brought up transgender people going to the same restroom as our daughter, the border wall, the inheritance tax and how he was cutting us out of the will if I “keep shit talking about Sarah Huckabee and President Trump.”

Hell of a welcome after two years of visits scuttled by Covid.

Also I’ll believe the news about the map when I see it. How about you stop worrying about the map and start running candidates who can win and organize the hell out of states like Stacey Abrams? I get the impression she doesn’t want to be DNC chair, but she should be.

 

My favorite part of people who threaten to leave family members out of their wills is half the time they don’t have assets of more than a couple hundred thousand dollars and act like they are withholding Bill Gates’ estate.

The candidates on the Democratic side are Charlie Crist, former R governor and current D congressman, and Nikki Fried, the secretary of agriculture
I like Nikki but I doubt she can win

My hopes are in the senate race, with Val Demings taking on Little Marco
