Jackson, Mississippi, had the highest per capita murder rate in the country in 2021 with 99.5 per 100,000 residents (153 murders total in a city of about 165,000), and has already had a couple this year. One of its city councilmen says he knows one of the reasons why — those annoying Indian business owners who won't pay for private security.

isn’t that what police are for? So they want to defund the police but they really want to shift the cost of police to immigrant small business owners. And when private security starts abusing the rights of a certain demographic group, they will call the use of private security racist. Just like they did with private prisons. That too started as a cost control measure.
