I just saw a news clip featuring the Proud Boys. They were drinking White Claw and Mic Ultra.
You couldn't make that up if you tried.

They try and overcharge everyone. As much as they deserve to be fired, stripped naked and marched through a car wash, car salespersons will try and rip-off everyone, everyday for everything.

The WHITE Claw is on brand at least. Them drinking OE would be the upset of the millennium.

The term enema is weird, too. Some female friends of mine flip out if you say the p-word.

I wasn't sure where to put this, but there certainly seems to be a whiff of bigotry driving this stupid decision. A school district in Tennessee voted to ban Maus, Art Spiegelman's graphic novel about the Holocaust.

One member, Tony Allman, was quoted in the minutes as saying, “Being in the schools, educators and stuff we don’t need to enable or somewhat promote this stuff.”

“It shows people hanging, it shows them killing kids, why does the educational system promote this kind of stuff, it is not wise or healthy,” Allman said, according to the minutes.

Julie Goodin, an assistant principal, replied to Allman, saying, “I can talk of the history, I was a history teacher and there is nothing pretty about the Holocaust and for me this was a great way to depict a horrific time in history.”

They miss the irony that on Holocaust Remembrance Day, they ban a book about the Holocaust and people who banned books.

I wished I was still writing headlines: Backwoods Bozo Board Bans Book

The best education any kid could give him or herself. ... Find all the books school districts have tried to ban. Read them and try to understand the reasons someone wanted them banned.

All’s fun and games until they start with Lolita. But your larger point stands.
