Dunno how employment law works in Iowa but can you legally require someone to “commit to at least two-plus years”?

I'm sure they could make it where they would require the new hire to sign a contract to that effect, but I'd hope the language would include a two year-plus commitment from the paper to the new hire.

In any case, I'd be very wary of a shop that has this job open as much as it does, needing to spell out the requirement of that commitment.

Will Lee Enterprises guarantee a two-year commitment?
