I'm eligible and I'll pay for it. Do you know the extent to which a second booster might be covered by the fedruhl guvmmint?

 

I'm going to a public one and don't plan to pay. They just require ID.

I'm holding on the 4th Covid injection for now. Timing matters, as vaccines lose some efficacy over time. As things stand currently, I don't feel gravely threatened. I'm in wait and see mode, because I suspect that along with the return of cough and cold season will come the next wave of Covid.

 

Figure 4 months'll've passed by cough and sneeze season so maybe I'll get a 5th shot in early fall.

 

We're scheduled to go to Europe in mid-May, so I think the best route for us would be to get the shot so that our travel dates are within what they're saying is a 4-week period of increased coverage.

 

Gwen and I are increasingly convinced that wearing masks (and hand washing) was a huge contributor to the lack of flu and colds the past two winters. We will wear them while in public next winter, whether required or not, just to test that theory.

 

I think that's a well reasoned and medically sound stance to take. It might get you cussed at, but fuggem, let 'em catch the bug and go on a vent.
