For just pennies a day, you can help Ukrainian pilots in their struggle against the godless Russian hordes.
Could use a little more Sarah McLachlan, though.

Victor Medvedchuk sounds like a guy who scored 17 goals for the 1994 Nordiques.

Russia is all in on this war.

a majority of Russians say they support “the actions of Russia’s military in Ukraine.” Half strongly support (53 percent), and 28 percent somewhat support, the military action. Just 14 percent oppose it and 6 percent decline to respond.

Like I said earlier, when the choice is support the government or find oneself either shipped to Siberia or dead, do we really know how much support Putin has beyond the yes-men?

The article talks about the methodology of the survey and also says Russians have been skeptical of Western influence since 2014. It also says the war has st least passive support among the population.

I think the better question - in a repressive mob-run kleptocracy without a free press - is how much 'truth'* actually gets through to the average Russian?

Nobody told me they were moving to Colorado and would win the Stanley Cup.

I think the obvious question is, given what we've seen in our country lately, do we think American support of an unjust but manly-man war like this one would be any different if we'd, say, invaded Mexico?
