The Miami Marlins might have reached a new low.

Apparently, they're charging $3 for soft drinks in the press box. This seems incredibly excessive, especially for this franchise.

    "Here's your Coke. That'll be $3."

"Here's your $3. I need an itemized receipt."

    Repeat.

What is the press box food rule at the Major League Baseball stadium you go to most often? The one I went to most would charge for the meal, I think it was $10. The soft drinks and soft serve were free.

Barry Jackson, who doesn't know the either-or, neither-nor rule, broke the Marlins soda scandal.

That "rogue dining employee" was a moron if that's what happened. He/she didn't think the media members were going to run en masse to the nearest team official to complain about that?

So, I'm curious, was it only $3 for a Coke, or was it also $3 for coffee, water, energy drink ... basically anything fluid?

If it was a "rogue dining employee" I wonder if he or she is now a former dining employee?
