It's no secret Feinstein's gaga. Same with Grassley. She was on the slide when she ran in 2018. BUT, she's very rich and running to unseat her in California would require like $30 million minimum and if you lose, your career in politics is over. So nobody did it. It's the voters' fault. You're voting for Gramma for no other reason than that you're lazy.

These are not good things.

 

This is terrifying. It isn't in SEC country and the candidate isn't a parishioner at some unaffiliated pseudo-Baptist/Trumpist joint that used to be an outlet mall. It's a Cleveland and the candidate isn't claiming to be a Christian at all. These gun-worshipping, pseudo-Christians are so powerful that they've infested everything.
The whole Trumpist field in this race is appalling.

 

George Wallace figured out the combination to the lock on this country’s electorate over half a century ago. The two things he didn’t have that Trump did were the internet and serious money backing.

 

When I think about the sadistic cruelty of the 2016-present GOP, this story sticks in my head.
