We just had a poster explain that his wife got pregnant twice while on birth control. Shit happens. People get pregnant. Get over it. You and your sanctimonious high horse are part of the problem in this discussion.

Also, you make it perfectly clear with every post while you really think of women.

I don’t care if someone is straight and Christian, just act normal in public.

This is incredibly simplistic. This is almost going along the lines that abortion is simply birth control for many who have them, which is far from the case. Abortion is a terribly difficult decision for the vast majority who are considering them, and there is generally a solid reason they are getting one. No one knows at all what most individuals who are contemplating this are going through or why they are in this situation. That includes resources and life circumstances and everything else.

Also, I think everyone here would be surprised just how dumb people are when it comes to sex. We simply don't know how it works in this country. I'm not kidding.

It’s cheap and easy to dictate life to others when you have nothing personal in the argument. Those men against abortion are the least likely to get laid in the first place. Correlation or causation.

Maybe we can all try to remember that everyone on this thread wants the same thing: fewer abortions. Fewer unwanted children. Fewer unparented children. Fewer poor children. Fewer hopeless children.

We disagree on how to get there.

Your viewpoint is valid, whether I agree with it or not.

And my viewpoint is valid, whether you agree with it or not.

We will never get anywhere in this discussion. Of course, "shit happens."

But not usually. And you all know it.

And you ought to be careful whom you're pretending to know, too.

The flaw on your thought is that roughly half of abortions are done when the woman was, in fact, using contraception. Meaning that they were being extra careful and still found themselves to be pregnant.
