It also points to the common perception that our elected leaders needed to be "people of faith" of some kind to be "electable."
Probably won't be long before we have a national figure say "like most Americans, I don't go to church regularly or even belong to one."

    It’ll turn Congress blue.

Which R Senate seats are in jeopardy of being flipped?

Also, while you’re watching federal elections, might be a good idea to check in on local fire commissions and city councils and election commissions. The rot is coming from the bottom, not the top.

    Pennsylvania.

    BUUUUUUUUT

That assumes the economy doesn’t drive independents red or to stay home in places like Arizona and Georgia

    AND

Dems storm the ballot box. High turnout could also put Florida or North Carolina in play, but I’m not holding my breath.

Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and maybe North Carolina? On the flip side, Nevada may go back to the GOP.

I'll definitely take a net +2 because it takes the Cinema Mansion out of the mix. I think I said a net +1 at the conclusion of the 2020 election. But I'd love a sweep.

Youngkin fortunately has the state Senate at still a Dem Majority, so not a whole lot he can do legally.

I think Arizona is probably safe. Mark Kelly is unimpressive but the people fighting for the Republican nomination are complete whack jobs, so the general is going to be a struggle for them.

Is it possible that in the general election, the trumpy candidates that won primaries, will appear to be much too far right to some republicans and non democrat voters.
