Never underestimate the power of the fossil fuel lobby to sway the stupid.

Speaking of which, if our nation is hanging on if the dumbest and most insecure believed a celebrity or not, Nero has already stopped playing his violin.

So, essentially, Trump whipped out his dick, and now we are trying to determine if people thought he wanted it sucked or not?

Isn't whipping out your dick enough?

Put solar panels on the new canopies you are going to build to cover the stands in every FBS stadium. The part of red America that attends games will gladly hug all the trees for that.

Here in Connecticut, we just signed for a solar battery storage system (we have 20 panels on the roof that we began leasing three years ago). For two Tesla Powerwalls, the cost after federal and local tax credits was $18K, which we use a 10-year loan through the solar company at 2.99% - so $236/month. However, Eversource has a program going now where they can pull up to 1 kilowatt per day to ease high energy days (and they will not pull 10 days out from a forecasted major storm). We would receive a check twice a year from Eversource up to $3,000 - which would cover the cost of the loan and a little more. It was a no-brainer for us. I hate power outages and this seems like the best way to go.

There are now a slew of companies that will serve as middlemen for solar companies to bid on your home, if you give them the specs of your roof and where you are in the country. I used EnergySage.com, and the wife and I almost pulled the trigger on one offer, before deciding that we wanted to have some more equity in our house first. But between grants available to us and the fact that they weren't going door to door, and thus knew they had competition, we were getting "pay off" times of 7 to 12 years.

My brother bought and had panels put on their roof thanks to inheritance money. Want to say it was like $20,000, but he owns them, doesn't rent. His electricity bill in hot-ass inland SoCal in the summers are very small.

Buchanan County, Va., which voted 83-16 for Trump in 202o, is underwater and scores are missing.

What can you say to that?
