A few years ago I read a comment from a pro-life guy who said there should be no exceptions for cases like this.

“Hard cases make bad law” he said.

    What does that even mean?

That seems like he is contradicting himself?

But no exceptions. A 10-year-old who is no way physically or emotionally able to go through this. We should just let her life be ruined for no fault of her own. If she even survives the pregnancy. These arguments are such weird flexes.

How about we do more to make sure the people who commit these crimes are put away forever or they at some point rarely happen at all? No, let's prove this life is valuable or some other nonsense while ruining at least two innocent ones who had no say in the matter (not to mention other family members, society, etc., that also have to face burdens as a result).

This case is one of many that the anti-abortionists aren’t prepared to deal with.

What do they say the next time a 10-year-old is assaulted, impregnated, and ends up dying from the pregnancy because she couldn’t have an abortion?

They better hope it’s not a blonde, white girl, and that the parents don’t start marching with pictures of their little girl.

Anti- aborts don’t care. They deal With it by ignoring it. They know if they don’t react the media will drop it.

Ask any group of college students if they're considering living in a different state at some point in the next couple of years and you'll find a majority of them say they can't rule it out. That's part of the reason you go to college: to give yourself options. Texas and California might be exceptions because they're so huge that you can go a long way from college and remain within the borders.

They don't care - It's God's will. Plenty of small, cute kids have died in school shootings at this point too.

A good rule to live by: Make goddamn sure you're using "effects" or "affects" (as the case may be) properly if you're popping off about how stooooopid some people are.

See similar rules re: "it's" vs. "its" and "they're" vs. "their" vs. "there."
