They must not have covered "stairs" in Dr. Porter's training.

She might have landed on something at the bottom of the stairs.

I suspect the key phrase is “to the torso.”

I'm drawing the line on living in Santa Ana. And probably San Jacinto.

Imagine saying, “Yeah, we’re OK not rooting out Nazis and white supremacists in the military.”

That’s the ENTIRE Republican Party in the House. There are no “good eggs” in that group.

WWII might have turned out totally differently if a Hitler sympathizer would have commanded the US 3rd Army, amirite?

People, especially older people, fall -- more properly they land -- in all sorts of fucked-up ways. Hell, I broke a rib in my late 30s when I hooked an edge skiing and my knee plowed into my chest. Then you factor in the loss of upper-body strength that comes with being in the Cream O' Wheat contingent (so you can't break your falls like you could in the good ol' days) ... yeah, it's completely plausible that a 70-ish woman fell down the stairs and the serious damage was to her torso.

All I know is that if there’s a story about you and it includes “torso,” it’s not good. #toomanytruecrimedocumentaries
