1. I assume she got at least tacit approval from Biden.
2. Geopolitically, I see no benefit from this. It's one thing to sell arms to Taiwan, it's another to poke at the Chinese when relations are already bad.

I'm unsure what Pelosi thinks she is doing. Visiting foreign countries - be they friend or foe - is no the Speaker's job. That's why we have a State Department.

I can't find a video, but there was a great post-9/11 SNL sketch that involved various Als bitching that their names had been ruined (Al Jazeera, Al Kyda, etc.)

I think Pelosi's foreign travels this summer indicate she's probably stepping down from Congress after the election - whether the Dems retain the House or not. And my question of Trump's cemetary at the golf course, is it a one or two stroke penalty or a free drop?
