The rankings make no sense. Michigan's schedule is incredibly weak. But then, the Big 10 in generally looks incredibly weak - Wisconsin losing to Wazzu at home? Georgia's second unit might be the fourth best team in the country. ND suddenly seems like a five-loss team.

On Page 2, we ran the TV-Radio listings at the top of the left column. Under those were local calendar schedules, the odds and a few other staples. When college football started, the TV listings got longer and, of course, the odds, too. There wasn't room. So we decided to only run the Top 25 odds on Page 2 and put the rest on the agate page.
Sure enough, we get a call. The guy asked how come we're not running Notre Dame odds anymore. Uh, we are, they are on page 7 in the scoreboard section. "Why aren't they on Page 2 with the rest." I tell him the reason, Notre Dame isn't in the Top 25 to they aren't on Page 2. He blurts out, "But but but, we're Notre Dame." I said, "Exactly," and hung up.

That donor could have given each scholarship player $88,000 for the pain of enduring three more weeks of Frost.

I get not letting him to finish the season and thus giving him some small chance of redeeming himself, and I get that some people have more money than they know what to do with, but what an absolute waste of money. Even if the donor has still blown it on the stupid football team it’s have done more good than this.

Word on the street is that there is a bidding war going on for Urban and Nebraska needed to move fast.

The whole bottom of the poll is a damn disgrace. All the buzz about the Sun Belt and how coverage of this sport doesn’t have to be about pimping the Big 2 leagues and those trying to join them. And then the last five spots chucks all of that in order to pimp #brandz that haven’t done anything meaningful.

It does when you look at how many voters are midwestern based.

I know that it's the job of SIDs to put a positive spin on even the worst losses, but this fella was really trying to earn their paycheck with this headline.
The final score was the halftime score.
