Biden should tell Missouri that he won’t cancel their debt if they don’t want it. But will cancel the debt where they do want it. And in Missouri, Kentucky, Alabama and Tennessee he needs to close post offices, Social Security offices and as many military bases as he’s allowed. If they don’t want the feds, they don’t get the feds.

Hobbs is +1 in this week's fairly reputable poll. It's a toss-up.

Here's the chief problem: Katie Hobbs would likely be a perfectly good Governor. She is a TERRIBLE candidate. She can't answer questions without stammering and looking terrified. She's a mess.

Kari Lake is poised, smooth, well-rehearsed and never gets rattled. She's been on TV for 20 years so everyone knows who he is. She's also carnival freak show crazy and a looming disaster. Even Republican political consultants will acknowledge she'd be in wildly over her head. She doesn't seem to have any grasp of what the Governor actually does. But hey, she hates the right people.
