I kind of think that if they really were running him out against his will, he probably would have been a little more Sal Tessio about it all, that's kind of why I suspect he's just not up to it.

If that is what it is, it's too bad. I don't think Hu's China was any great liberal democracy but they at least attempted sometimes to not be assholes (mostly around the 2008 Olympics).
