Great to see the Respect for Marriage Act pass the Senate with 61 votes. It'll pass the House and go to Biden.

I assume there will be many court challenges. But bipartisan legislation that does a good thing is always nice, especially in the context of the last several years.

Gay marriage was a republican wedge issue not all that long ago, for GWB/Rove. Count me as surprised how quickly the national opinion has changed.

    We
For the record, it wasn’t that long ago that Democratic presidential candidates wouldn’t touch gay marriage either. Not vehemently against, but not willing to endorse it.

Oh, absolutely and great point. Dems showed little courage on the issue. Obama included. If I recall, Biden was a big factor in pushing it as VP.

Did I miss the conversation about that fuckhead Proud Boys leader getting convicted of seditious conspiracy?

I hope he gets all 20 years. And maybe have that other eye taken out.

I think he's with the Oath Keepers. But if a number of leaders from both groups found themselves hanging from the end of a rope, I'd be absolutely in favor of it.

The far right needs to realize attempting to overthrow the United States of America is a very bad idea, no matter what a knucklehead President tells them to do. And that goes for any "militia" on either fringe of society.

Doh! Shit, of course it’s the oath keepers. Hard to keep those small-dick groups separated.

Are there militias on the other fringe?

I've seen a bunch of "III" stickers on pickups in my area and just hope enough of them sh*t their pants over these trials that they crawl back into their holes.
