Art Flavious actually won the first election for student body president at our high school. Except there was no one named Art Flavious in real life.

But the campaign slogans were better than anyone else that he carried the majority.

Needless to say, administration wasn't impressed and we had to settle for the candidate that existed.

I still think Art would have done a better job.

 

Once in the letters on a Saturday editorial page we had one from Allen Park resident Dick Gozinya

 

Based on the number of tries he scored for our rugby club, the local papers must have wondered why Phil McCracken wasn’t captaining Canada.

I agree it's odd that nobody has filed.
I also think there's virtually no way such a suit would succeed. Slippery slope issue.

 

I really wish this ended up with consequences for her, but it won't.
