Two seemingly fun hosts. I'm into it.

Aubrey Plaza is either going to be awesome or a disaster. There's no in-between.

I think she'll be good. She's always a podcast and late night guest that tends to play ball, and she's a vet of NBC.

I think she will be too. But there’s a non-zero chance she either treats it with open contempt, mails it in intentionally like Franco at the Oscars, or drops an F-bomb or something.

Regan, I'm not sure she has the gravitas at this point to blow things up like that. You could be right, but I'm not seeing it.

I admire them for trying a spontaneous NFL cold open based on the game that just ended, but the impressions were not the best aside from Devin Walker as Strahan.

I don't watch a lot of new TV, so Aubrey Plaza is new to me. So let me just say:

    Like a goddamn cheese cracker.

I love Aubrey but this has been awful.

The monologue was fine (a Poehler cameo seemingly was a given with their Parks and Rec past), but this has been a real whiff of an episode.

Maybe next week they can convince the "other" Michael Jordan to make a cameo, or have Charles Barkley come in and play dumb thinking he was going to be there with #23.

Ugh. Did we really need ANOTHER appearance of George Santos, especially when it's just another off-shoot of the same Bowen Yang character.

Is it me, or do the sketches just never seem to actually LAND? Okay, weird premise… a little interesting… a few chuckles… then: nothing. Just ends without any sort of end point.

As a rock n roll fossil, have not heard Sam Smith songs before … but an a cappella song as one of your two SNL numbers? Interesting.

And whoever his female sidekick is slipped in a Basic Instinct-style leg-crossing move.
