For those who imbibe, this list of terms for being drunk is pretty fun. My favorite: He has more sail than ballast. But Jacksonville fans will certainly have an elegant jag on should their team beat the Chargers Saturday. All times local.

    SATURDAY
Seattle at San Francisco (-10/43), 130, FOX
    L.A Chargers (-1/47.5) at Jacksonville, 815, NBC

    SUNDAY
Miami at Buffalo (-10.5/43.5), 1, CBS
    N.Y. Giants at Minnesota (-3/48.5), 330, FOX
Baltimore at Cincinnati (-6.5/43.5), 815, NBC

    MONDAY
    Dallas (-3/45.5) at Tampa Bay, 815, ESPN/ABC

Every game in the WC round is a rematch.

San Fran beat the Seahawks 27-7 at home and 21-13 in Seattle.

The Jaguars beat the piss out of the Chargers in L.A. 38-10, giving us the false impression that they would run away with the AFC South. Instead, they lost five straight after that and had to claw their way in at the last minute. Still, they're playing as well as anyone not named the 49ers right now.

Miami and Buffalo split, with each team winning at home.

The Vikings beat the Giants a few weeks back on a 61-yard field goal at the buzzer.

Cincinnati just wrecked the Ravens at Paycor yesterday and I can't see how the result is any different, unless Lamar is back and healthy and Burrow turns the ball over. Baltimore won the game in Maryland 19-17 in Week 5.

Tampa beat Dallas to open the season in a game that Dak got hurt.

My picks: 49ers, Jaguars, Bills, Giants, Bengals, Bucs, which would set up:

AFC -- Jacksonville at KC; Cincy at Buffalo
NFC -- Giants at Philly; Tampa at San Fran

    SATURDAY
Seattle at San Francisco -- Seattle to win, Geno becomes a darling
L.A Chargers at Jacksonville -- I think this will be a fun game and Lawrence will have his coming out party, Jags by 2 TDs.

    SUNDAY
Miami at Buffalo -- Bills 42-7
N.Y. Giants at Minnesota -- 13-10 either way
Baltimore at Cincinnati -- Bengals by 30 or so

    MONDAY
Dallas at Tampa Bay -- Bucs 35-10

    Does anyone use buzzers anymore?

Seems like it's all horns and whistles these days.

Seahawks-49ers could be played in a howling gale. Could prevent the outright rout this otherwise figures to be.

It's possible that some teams added bells and whistles.

I work on Sunday nights, so a bit bummed to see my Bengals playing there. But surprised that they would get one of the marquee slots.

You could bet the mortgage that Jax would be playing on Saturday, but shocked they're not going first as often the case for the AFC South champion.

The good news about that Bucs-Cowboys matchup is that one of them has to lose.
The bad news is that one of them has to win.

Uncle Al and Tony Dungy, not Herbstreit, will be on the Chargers-Jags game Saturday night.

As a Dallas fan, I feel like I’m going to get it two ways.

I like the term the Kiwis and Aussies use in rugby “there goes the hooter”.
