Could you imagine Brady going to NY?

It's the new (to me anyway) weather jargon describing the air masses responsible for the big California storms.

It is different from a "storm," in that it is pretty much the jet stream bringing moisture from the south north and dumping it. Storms typically come from the north to south - or at least from the west.

Oh, I thought I'd heard he was nearly catatonic or something during that one, but what do I know. I wish I didn't, honestly.

I guess, but that just seems like such a bad idea on both sides. There's a pretty good chance he's done at this point, and the idea of Tom Brady looking cooked in a Jets uniform isn't either side needs.

My understanding is that he was at first, but then he was a belligerent asshole by the time the police showed up.

It's not new. It's the Pineapple Express, the surge of moisture coming up from the south (via Hawaii). It doesn't happen every year, but it's not exactly an out-of-the-blue situation. It's happened many times before -- and will again.
