And yet there’s not a lawyer in the world who could get Pelosi’s attacker off.

The part where the NYT is pontificating about a rural America it has no knowledge of.

Yeah, but I honestly don't know if that's metro or state money or a combination.
There are parts of the stadium that is crumbling.

It’s not even that old. I guess they don’t make them like they used to.

I haven't been there in a decade, so I really only know what I've seen on the news. I am certain, though, it would be cheaper to repair and upgrade than building an entirely new stadium.

Stadiums and areas seem to be like iPhones. They become obsolete very quickly.

Presumably UW Madison professor Cramer does, however.

It's no different than owning a house and renting a house.

If you paid for your own stadium, you take care of it. Dodger Stadium is 61 years old. It's in wonderful shape and many still consider it the gold standard. The same with the Giants' stadium, whatever they are calling it now.

If someone else paid for your stadium (like the taxpayers), you have no incentive to maintain it properly because you know sooner or later those same taxpayers will be hornswaggled into building you another one.

I have driven past the stadium formerly known as Adelphia Coliseum many times and been to it as well.
Strategically situated on the east bank of the Cumberland across the river from downtown Nashville.
Said at that time to have been the best facility for the best possible location.
