They all know they can lie their asses off because they won't get called on it on TV and even if they were, their audience is stupid and/or demented enough to believe every whopper because it's the only way they can stimulate their overworked feat and rage brain cells.

 

DeSantis has no political acumen at all. Doesn't smile, has no sense of humor, never says anything intelligent.
He's lucky he has both wings of the media saying that he is super smart.

 

It's a confluence of events that has created a perfect shitstorm. Among them:
A rash of retirements that gave uneducated white dudes nothing better to do than listen to Rush and watch Fox all day.
Bible thumpers
Super low taxes and cost of living that allowed the above from other states to move in.
Brain Drain because of the state's best and brightest young people are getting the heck out.
Electing Gov. Short Bus to set the legislative agenda. I was no Haslam fan, but at least he wasn't a Bible-thumping ignoramus.
Electing a governor from the same party as his predecessor hadn't happened in more than a half century. It had gone back-and-forth since the 1960s.
A single-party super majority - that happens to be the governor's party - in both houses of the state legislature, which means no checks and balances.
Gerrymandering to keep that super majority.
A lack of actual quality candidates who want to run for office at the local, state, and national levels.

The vast majority of everything Fatfuck utters is absolute bullshit, therefore his denial of any particular statement hardly "refutes" it, in fact it tends to confirm it.

It is accurate to say he "disputes" the statement. Although his disputation is pretty much bullshit in itself.

 

Something about Nashville’s growth going supernova tripped alarm bells in the heads of Tennessee Republicans. Davidson County stayed Democratic even when the rest of Middle Tennessee went GOP, but it was more of a blue dog, old-time flavor of Democrat, and so there was an unspoken live and let live attitude. But when the stream of transplants became a flood and Nashville started enacting some actual progressive policy, there was a revolt in the other counties. Now Nashville’s government is more of a pariah than Memphis, the traditional sin eater for rural Tennesseans. And unlike other states, Tennessee’s suburbs are still hardcore GOP territory.

 

Pop quiz: what has hurt children more often and more deeply, porn or guns?
Answer: who cares! Let’s regulate both for God’s sake.

 

Does an 8-year-old who has an iPhone Google “what are the best porn sites?” on the regular? I’m guessing not. If they are accessing porn, an adult, likely a predatory one, is helping them.
