Counting my first paper route at age 11, I've been working for 51 years.

No wonder I'm ready to retire.

Paper route > working the midnight shift at the Tyson plant at age 11, no?

It’s cute how people tell stories of their first jobs as if they are applicable to what SHS has done to Arkansas (and other MAGA pols will do to other states). I worked as a tee ball umpire at 14. That’s an appropriate job for that age. Third shift using industrial-strength cleaners on the kill line at a meat packer isn’t.

I was losing my paper route money playing best-ball miniature golf at 3 a.m. at age 14. Lost $35 one night. It's how I developed the yips. True story.

The Oak Ridge Putt-Putt had midnight tournaments every other Saturday in the summer. Went from midnight to about 2 a.m., after which about 8 of us played best-ball games at $5/game.

That wasn't my intention. At all.

When I first saw the photo of her above, I thought how interesting it was that spokesperson would use one of those throat talkie things.

    Alas.

How’s it different from New Jersey - where Murphy signed a similar law last year?

It's a shitty law no matter who sponsored or passed it. That's the part you don't seem to get. It's not a bad law because an R or D signed it. Whataboutism doesn't work..

Repealing child labor laws is bad law, period.
