    Not just any old car. That looked like an Oldsmobile Delta 88, a real road hog of that era. A whale of a car ruined by a whale, kind of ironic.

    The 1973 Delta 88 Royale sedan was truly a great road beast.
    I drove my dad's all through high school. That car would go like hell.

    How many Whalers have wanted to do the same to Peter Karmanos?

    (And yes ... this was the first time I had ever seen this. Nicely done. Few affiliates are capable of work at this level these days.)

    Too bad it wasn’t a Chrysler. And I met and talked to Dave Barry in 2005 and he was one of the nicest people.
