The level of gifts Thomas got almost seems to indicate a courtship, and not in the “I’d really like these cases decided my way” sense either.

 

I respect our profession so much but CT has been one of the scummiest lawyers since I've been in law school.

Ironically, my grandparents would’ve thought Kid Rock and Travis Tritt were trying to be women with their hair being down to their collar.

In a way, Thomas’s grievance can be justified. He feels like he got everything because he was an affirmative action candidate. Which is probably true. He was uniquely unqualified to run the EEOC but was the only black Republican around. Then he got fast tracked to the DC Circuit and the Supremes despite minimal qualifications. But when he got there, all he wanted to do was punch down.
