Backlash or no, Senate map in 2024 is very unfavorable to Democrats, with twice as many seats to defend and no margin for error.

Dems: We're not deep enough in debt yet. So let's . . .

GOP: We haven't done enough stupid shit yet. So let's . . .

    There's your difference.

Arizona and West Virginia are the two they need to worry about, and they might as well have lost those already (except Manchin is good re: judges). I suppose Tester, too. They already lost a lot of their swing seats (IN, ND come to mind) in 2018.

Dems: we’re adding onto the debt Republicans have piled on since Reagan — but keep in mind it was a Democratic president who briefly reversed that trend, until the off-the-books Iraq spending

    Republicans: we’re limiting your freedom

    Yes, the same.

I think only two posters here would say the rise of American fascism is on the same level as debt spending. But at least one of them has the libertarian excuse.

Everybody is fine with having his/her freedom limited as long as it serves whatever "greater good" they decide is worth it.

Thus, the mocking of the "muh freedom!" crowd.

"I want freedom to carry a gun"
"I want freedom to not have to worry about being shot at school"

Two people who want freedom . . . in different ways.

What possible greater good is in blatant bigotry?

It’s ok to be racist if it means my feefees aren’t hurt? Oh that trans woman can’t endorse beer because my kids might catch the gay?

    Fuck right off

Edit: I see you added more to hide your piece of shit post

Mocking of “muh freedom” crew? Absolutely because they are anything but about their freedoms.

I respected true libertarians because they actually reciprocated, leave me alone and I’ll leave you alone.

These fake libertarians are just a Trojan horse for enthnocentric totalitarianism. You do what I say and when I say it.

At least be honest. As someone once said “ don’t insult my intelligence.”
