In the last Presidential election the Republican party literally did not have a platform to discuss. It was "Whatever Trump wants us to do."

If we go back 30-40 years we can cherry pick all sorts of political stances that would be completely untenable now, in both parties.

 

Yeah, there’s zero chance some smart-ass students won’t report teachers they just don’t like.

 

Everyone has an opinion. Some people don’t want to be shot dead. Others want to abolish the rule of law.

We’re having a conversation.

 

It won't last. Grievance is his oxygen.

 

It really is starting to feel like there's Florida, and then there's the rest of the U.S. DeSantis needs to go. And not to the White House.

How is it that the FBI arrest a 21 year old playing a video game and leak out classified information and Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton, Dr. Fauci, and others are getting away with this?

One of former president Donald Trump’s top lawyers on the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case is no longer working on the matter after he appeared before a federal grand jury last month, according to people familiar with the move.


Evan Corcoran is still representing Trump in other cases, such as special counsel Jack Smith’s probe into the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to these people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive information they are not authorized to disclose.

 

Gee, let's see. There have been no indictments or charges of Biden, Clinton, or Fauci. Clinton has been investigated numerous times, including testifying before a Congressional committee for eight hours or so, and nothing has stuck. Biden is being looked at, but so far there are no charges outside of the fevered minds of the Republicans. Fauci? Bullshit, that's just ridiculous.

Now lets look at just one single document out of the hundreds that Texeira put out in public - the Pentagon/intel assessment of the defense of Taiwan against Chinese air attacks. It gives the Chinese an up to date look at what the American military sees as the strengths and weaknesses of Taiwan's air defenses, our assessment of China's expected modes of attack, and the projected plans to help defend the island. This is extremely valuable to China given that they are giving every indication that they intend to make a military strike on Taiwan sometime in the not terribly distant future.

See the difference?

It's probably also worth noting that this wasn't just some "21 year old playing video games", but a member of the military who worked in military intelligence, who had sworn an oath to defend this country, and deliberately broke the Espionage Act. That's different as well.
