Your residents are getting boned by insurance companies who aren’t paying shit on homeowners claims after the hurricane and you’re worried about “wokeism.” What a loser.

This has got to be a refreshing change of pace for Disney's high-priced and highly competent attorneys. Their more typical work day involves like suing a 9-year old for putting a picture of Minnie Mouse on her lemonade stand.

The tapes of Cruz that have recently surfaced are from the suit by Abby Grossberg, the former Fox staffer who is suing for discrimination among other things. They're tapes of pre-interviews with guests on Bartiromo's show where these Republican insiders would freely admit not having any evidence of what they're about to discuss, "but we're going to put it out there and see what happens". Among other things she says that these were given to Fox attorneys in the run-up to the Dominion lawsuit but they did not appear in the discovery given to Dominion's lawyers.

The news today is that Jack Smith has gotten these for possible use in his various cases. I'm betting that made a few people squirm.

This brings up a fun question: Shouldn't basic standards of professional conduct or legal principles compel them to recuse themselves?
If somebody challenges such a law, the case starts in the minor leagues of the federal system. Could the Supremes simply refuse to take the case on appeal from the DC circuit?
