Aw, you know I'm just playing. There's half a page of what really happened just above that post.

Our first year coach has decent pitching, kinda, but all the hitting stats are #300+. Poor sod. Easy to see why there's a new coach.

Beat both AU and UA, though. And bammer got beat by a team that just got run ruled by a D3 team

I wonder if the coach just tipped off a friend. Seems ridiculous to bet on your own games given the small stakes likely involved.

Sportsbook surveillance video indicated that the person who placed the bets was communicating with Bohannon at the time, multiple sources with direct information about the investigation told ESPN.

If that’s true, that would explain it.

That's the part that doesn't make sense. The moneyline odds (assuming that's what his partner bet on) on those games are all over the place, and not in a good way.
The odds on a game like that were probably at least -180 and maybe a bit over -200 even before the pitching change was announced. The juice isn't worth the squeeze -- and certainly not the suicidal career risk to someone like Bohannon -- at those rates.

I could see someone telling a friend for shits and giggles but not making any coin from it.

Betting on baseball has always been a sign that you have a problem. Betting on college baseball is a sign that you need immediate intervention.

Career isn’t the worry. PMITA prison is what he should worry about.

Also, this is why you never hire an Auburn assistant.

You are asking this question on a board where people discussed betting strategy on Korean baseball?
