Time is relative in Vegas. There are no clocks there.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Unless it affects the AL West standings.

Yeah - anyone expecting the A's to start attracting or developing talent once they get to Vegas is kidding themselves. And for all the rep Billy Beane had - it isn't like their drafts have yielded much in the last five years.

A little over an hour and a half left in the legislative session as I write this and it doesn't look like it's going to happen this session.

Imagining a situation where NO CITY wants to pay for the A's.

Do you pull a Costanza and go back to Oakland and act like nothing happened?

If Nevada/Vegas say no, anywhere else they go will have all the leverage against them.

Fisher is going to have to sell if that happens. No one will build him a stadium and he doesn’t want to spend money. Cut bait to someone who will invest in the club.

I feel like Vegas magically gets done but my many LOLs at ownership of it fails.

How do the Montreal Athletics sound?

The rest of the AL East would be thrilled to see the Rays moved into the Central.
