Those have been spotted heading toward Ukraine since, IIRC, at least last fall.
They won't last long in a head-to-head battle with anything modern, but they could have their uses. They can be used for occupation duty or dug in as stationary artillery.

I also posted a video a couple of pages back where the Russians used one in a kamikaze attack — they loaded it up with high explosives, set it to run on remote control, and rolled it toward a Ukrainian position. It made a really big boom when it went off, with the explosives apparently detonated by an RPG. There was speculation after that video surfaced that the massive stockpiles of T-54/55s could be a dangerous terror weapon if used like that. They're cheap to get running again, cheap to operate (especially if you don't care if they get blown up or not), and they already have hundreds if not thousands of them laying around.

I haven’t seen a military-obsessed society spend this much money to be exposed as a paper tiger since Texas A&M was getting pantsed by App State.

If it's a done deal that Russia is going to blow that nuke plant (and it sounds like it is), they'll probably blow it when the prevailing winds are pointed right at Moscow.

Ukraine has plenty of drone helpers to scatter the contamination further in country. Good luck with all that, Vlad.

Funny. I'm looking at Google News on my phone. I scroll down and see a headline sourced from India Today:

Wagner boss, who rebelled against Putin, likely dead, claims former U.S. general.

The article below it, from Insider:

Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigoxhin likely alive: former U.S. general.

Top article actually reads "dead or in jail". Second one is paywalled.
