No, you had to do it yourself. To him and his two buddies.

Having someone's power of attorney and needing to use it can be two different things.

There are different types of powers of attorney. Some, called a springing power of attorney, only come into effect when the person is incapable. If her daughter held that type and it's in effect it would be very concerning.

Others grant the power directly and are not conditioned on particular circumstances. This is a much better estate planning tool - as long as you trust the person you're giving it to. It is preferable because you don't get bogged down in questions of whether the springing conditions are met or of whether decisions made under it will be later challenged. Her daughter holding that type of POA is only a sign of good estate planning within a trusting family.

My wife holds my POA and I hers. My sister has had my parents' for about 10 years and never used it, though it took my dad a long time to understand and agree to not using a springing POA.

They're offended when their offensive moniker is parodied. What a bunch of snowflakes:

Hilarious. Glad I saw that. Perfect encapsulation of how whiny and unserious they are.

Also, did they complain when their God emperor appropriated "fake news" which initially described bogus stories* MAGA idiots circulated?

*For instances, that Pope Francis had endorsed Trump

That did not happen in Hawaii in 1960.

It makes me fear if the far left and far right ever realize how similar they are (self-victimization, the belief in boycotts for larger goals, belief in movements with failed pasts they somehow think will work this time)and join forces.

Listen to Chapo Trap House and their recent nihilism is shockingly similar to the nihilism of Steve Bannon. Both doubt democracy for different, but very similar reasons.

We are all tired of neoliberalism and what capitalism has become to vary extents, but I’ve failed to see anyone working on the next movement seriously. We’ve settled on fascism and socialism? Really? Obama at least offered an on-ramp to European style social democracy that seems inevitable in an AI, globalized world. The backlash has been understandable. Change is hard. But late 19th century failures? Somebody try harder.

Rand and Tuberville should form a tag team when their political careers are done.

Reinforces one of my prevailing thoughts about the Trump era, which is that conservatives get very upset when you don’t just bend over and take their shit.

They're the bully who whines like a little bitch and runs to the teacher when you hit them back.

Which means they’re a bitch masquerading as a bully.
